The promotion confirmed the heavyweight pairing through The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday. UFC 221 takes place at Perth Arena in Perth, Australia on Feb. 10 and is headlined by a middleweight championship tilt between Robert Whittaker and Luke Rockhold.

After admitting memory loss and slurred speech in a column for Australia’s Players Voice, Hunt was indefinitely suspended by the UFC. However, after recently visiting with brain specialists in Las Vegas, “The Super Samoan” was cleared to return to the Octagon. Hunt last appeared at UFC Fight Night 110 on June 10, when he earned a fourth-round technical knockout win over Derrick Lewis.

Blaydes, meanwhile, is unbeaten in his last four promotional appearances. Most recently, the 26-year-old Elevation Fight Team representative earned a second-round doctor stoppage win over Alexey Oleynik at UFC 217. Blaydes has finished seven of his eight career wins by knockout or technical knockout.
