Henry Cejudo Believes Demetrious Johnson Could Easily Defeat T.J. Dillashaw
Former flyweight title challenger Henry
Cejudo has weighed in with his thoughts on the outcome of a
potential superfight between the current
Ultimate Fighting Championship 125-pound champion Demetrious
Johnson and bantamweight ace T.J.
Dillashaw.
Cejudo has experienced firsthand just how good Johnson is back at UFC 197 in 2016, when lost via TKO in the first round. Cejudo recently appeared on MMAFighting.com and commented on the bout, believing “Mighty Mouse” would easily win while pointing out the weight loss as being the deciding factor in the fight.
“I have Demetrious by a landslide, to be honest with you. I think Demetrious’ speed; he’s intelligent, nothing to take away from T.J. I’ve said it before, I think it’s just a weight issue. I think it’s T.J. getting down those extra 10 pounds and how he recovers the next day. I think that’s the biggest factor in that fight.”
Fight fans are eager for “Mighty Mouse” to test himself after he set a UFC record in his last fight against Ray Borg for most title defenses with 11.
