Rolles Gracie (Pictures) vs. Sam Holloway (Pictures)

Brad Blackburn (Pictures) vs. Travis Cox (Pictures)
Round 1
Brad Blackburn started this fight off with a knee to the groin on Travis Cox. Cox recovered and responded aggresively by bumrushing Blackburn. While on his knees, Cox was tagged by Blackburn with a knee to the head. The referee stepped in and oxygen was given to Cox but the fight wasn't going to continue and by Florida law (first round inadvertent knee equals no-contest), the bout was ruled a no-contest at the 2:32 mark of the opening period.

Ryan Schultz (Pictures) vs. Aaron Riley (Pictures)
Round 1
Riley stung Schultz with lots of outside leg kicks until he was dumped on his back. Schultz brought down a few hammer punches until Riley covered up. Riley was able to get out and the two finished the round dancing. 10-9 Schultz, thanks to the takedown.

Round 2
Both men continued the same pace in the second round until Ryan offered some uppercuts and followed it up with straight shots. Riley countered with two high left kicks that had the crowd ooh'ing. Riley contined to tag the outside of Schultz's lead leg. The round was very even but Riley takes the nod on the Sherdog.com scorecard, 10-9.

Round 3
More of the same in the final round. Bothe fighters traded pucnhes with nothing landing solid. Schultz scored two takedowns in the frame to cement his victory via unanimous decision, 30-27 on all judges' scroecards.

Silverbacks vs. Pitbulls
Jake Ellenberger (Pictures) vs. Delson Heleno (Pictures)
Round 1
Heleno starts off the round with a body-lock while Ellenberger delivers some shots to the midsection. Not much action as Heleno pressed Ellenberger against the ropes. The first round ends amidst dirty boxing by both men with Heleno clinching Ellenberger. 10-9 Heleno.

Round 2
Heleno secures the mount early in the second round and keeps his chest on Ellenbergers face while delivering strikes. Ellenberger reverses the position, then finds himself with an ankle-lock until Heleno slips out and goes for an armbar, which forces Ellenberger tap at 3:45 in the second.

The Pitbulls go up 1-0 with the win.

Bart Palaszewski (Pictures) vs. Deividas Taurosevicius (Pictures)
Round 1
This fight began in a frenzy with Taurosevicius comig right at Palaszewski as the two stood and swung wildly. Palaszewski follows up with a nice kick to the body and a leg kick and then tried to pull down with a guillotine. Taurosevicius slips out and begins to bring down hard punches from on high while Palaszewski is balled up in the corner of the ropes. Bart gets back on his feet and ends the round with some knees as the two trade while holding on to each other. 10-9 Taurosevicius.

Round 2
In the second round Taurosevicius went for an armbar that had Palaszewski wincing and what looked like a tap until Taurosevicius released and kicked Palaszewski in the eye. The referee stops the bout at 1:30 due to tap by an armbar among a sea of boos. Palaszewski didn't argue the stoppage.

Pitbulls are now up 2-0.

Ben Rothwell (Pictures) vs. Ricco Rodriguez (Pictures)
Round 1
Ricco goes for a superman punch followed by a takedown attempt that is stuffed by Rothwell. Ricco tries for a guillotine that is again blocked by Rothwell. Ricco tries several overhand rights that are dodged by the patient Silverback. The first round ends with both men tied up in the corner. Sherdog.com gives the round 10-9 to Rothwell just on the few glancing blows he landed.

Round 2
Ricco lands a solid leg kick and again gets a takedown stuffed. Rothwell continues to lean heavy on Ricco keeping him from the ground. Again Ricco gets a guillotine and this time pulls Rothwell down with him, but Ben stays calm and works out of it. Ricco and Rothwell stand back up and now Rothwell stalks him to end the round. 10-9 for Ben Rothwell.

Round 3
Round three and again Ricco swings wild with an overhand right that just misses. Ben follows that up with a nice body shot. Ricco goes for another guillotine in Rothwell's corner but to no avail. Rothwell gets out again and starts bringing down more punches while in Ricco's half guard. Rothwell connects with a combo and Ricco hams it up a bit, spitting at Rothwell. 10-9 for the Silverback. Ben Rothwell takes a unanimous decision, 29-28 on all three cards.

Silverbacks chop away at the Pitbulls' lead, and now trail 2-1.

Ryan McGivern (Pictures) vs. Fabio Leopoldo (Pictures)
Round 1
Leopoldo and McGivern begin immediately by throwing everything in thier standup arsenal. Leopoldo connects with a one-two combo followed by a head kick. McGivern comes right back at him with some body shots and an uppercut. McGivern stops a few takedown attempts while sporting a red ribcage thanks to Leopoldo's kicks. McGivern connects with a straight right that temporarily puts Leopoldo on the mat. Leopoldo recovers and gets out of harms way as the round ends. 10-9 McGivern.

Round 2
McGivern starts round two with another nasty uppercut. After a brief exchange McGivern gets another uppercut and two great kicks to the body. Leopoldo is still swinging hard but is turning away when he gets hit. McGivern keeps up the pressure and gives him another uppercut followed by another right hand that puts him down for good. The official time is 1:35.

The Silverbacks bounce back and are now tied with the Pitbulls, two a piece.

Mike Ciesnolevicz (Pictures) vs. Andre Gusmao (Pictures)
Round 1
Gusmao went right after Mike Ciesnolevicz connecting with a knee in the clinch early that dropped Ciesnolevicz. The Pitbulls are ecstatic and they swarm the ring lifting Deividus and Renzo on their shoulders. The time of the knockout is 53 seconds into the first.

The New York Pitbulls are the 2007 IFL team champions.
