Bellator MMA announced Friday night that a women’s flyweight bout has been added to the eagerly-anticipated Bellator: Dynamite 2 event, which is set for June 24 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. Promotion officials confirmed that Ilima-Lei Macfarlane will take on Rebecca Ruth on the card, which is anchored by the heavyweight bout between former UFC 205-pound champ Quinton Jackson and Satoshi Ishii.

Macfarlane has been impressive since turning pro, having won all three of her bouts, two of which have been inside the Bellator cage. The last time “The Ilimanator” competed, she submitted Amber Tackett via first-round armbar at Bellator 148.

Ruth has won her last four, including her Bellator debut in February where she out-pointed Lena Ovchynnikova at Bellator 150. “Ruthless” Rebecca had been on a tear in the Shamrock FC promotion before being called up to the Viacom-owned promotion.

Officials also announced that Guilherme Vasconcelos will make his debut for Bellator on the card against Shamrock FC standout Jordan Dowdy on the preliminary portion of the event.

Bellator: Dynamite 2 will boast a kickboxing ring adjacent to their MMA cage, identical to their initial Dynamite card last year. The main card will see a co-featured bout between Michael Chandler and Patricky Freire for the vacant lightweight title and UFC veteran Matt Mitrione will take on Carl Seumanutafa in a heavyweight bout.

As of now, the Bellator Kickboxing portion of the card will see Elmir Kulosman taking on Darryl Cobb and Tara walker opposing Mimi Kutzin.

Bellator: Dynamite 2 will air live on Spike starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT while the prelims will stream live on Bellator.com and the Bellator mobile app.
