Paul Sass and Eddie Wineland are off the UFC on Fox 2 2 fight card due to injury, the promotion announced via Twitter on Monday night.

Nik Lentz will step in for Sass against Evan Dunham in a lightweight contest, while a replacement for Wineland, who was scheduled to face Johnny Bedford in a bantamweight bout, has yet to be determined.

Lentz was last in action at UFC 140, where he dropped a unanimous decision to Mark Bocek, the Minnesota native's first loss in eight UFC appearances. Meanwhile, Wineland has dropped his first two inside the Octagon, falling to Urijah Faber via unanimous decision last March before dropping another three-round affair to Joseph Benavidez in August. It's the second change for the 135-pound contest already, as Bedford took Demetrious Johnson's place when "Mighty Mouse" elected to join the UFC's flyweight tournament scheduled for March 3.

Going down from the United Center in Chicago, Ill., on Jan. 28, UFC on Fox 2 is headlined by a light heavyweight attraction pitting former title holder Rashad Evans against Phil Davis as well as a key middleweight contest between Chael Sonnen and Mark Munoz. Also, Michael Bisping takes on Demian Maia in another featured 185-pound contest.
