Jandiroba (13-0) will look to retain her belt and her perfect record against Morandin (10-1) in the main event of Invicta FC 31. The Brazilian champion has submitted seven opponents thus far out of 13 professional victories.
Jandiroba won the strawweight title in March in a dominant five-round performance against Mizuki Inoue that ended in a perplexing split decision. She will be making her first title defense against Morandin, a fellow Brazilian who has tallied half of her ten career victories by knockout or technical knockout.
UFC veteran Pearl Gonzalez (8-3) returns to Invicta in the night’s co-main event, as she looks to make it two-in-a-row at flyweight and three straight overall against promotional newcomer Daiane Firmino (10-2). Gonzalez has stayed busy since joining the organization, picking up two wins already this year.
