Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White posted a picture on Twitter featuring himself standing alongside arguably the most powerful UFC champion of all time in Brock Lesnar. The caption only contains a cheeky smiley face hinting there may be more to this image than meets the eye.

Talk in the fighting world surrounding Lesnar’s potential return to the Octagon was further flamed recently when his long term manager, Paul Heyman, talked with TMZ and said his man is always ready to fight.

Lesnar is in the last months of his WWE contract, which is due to expire in April after WrestleMania.

Lesnar (5-3, 1 NC in MMA) last fought at UFC 200 in July 2016 against Mark Hunt in a highly controversial fight. Lesnar originally won by unanimous decision although the decision was overturned to a no-contest after Lesnar allegedly tested positive for clomiphene and was suspended for a year.

While the picture has raised a few eyebrows, fans should take it with a grain of salt as Lesnar is currently in negotiations with the WWE and what better way to improve terms in the new contract then to get a photo with the president of a competing organization. During negotiations for his last pro wrestling contract, Lesnar attended UFC 184 and many fans took as a sign of a possible return to the mixed martial arts world. What transpired was the former UFC champion re-signed with the WWE.
