Jack Hermansson vs. Cezar ‘Mutante’ Booked for UFC Fight Night in Sao Paulo

Jack Hermansson will lock horns with Cezar Ferreira at UFC Fight Night 100 in Sao Paulo on Nov. 19.

Promotion officials announced the middleweight pairing on Thursday. UFC Fight Night takes place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium and is headlined by a light heavyweight duel between Alexander Gustafsson and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

A seven-time veteran of Cage Warriors Fighting Championship, Hermansson was successful in his Octagon debut, earning a unanimous verdict over Scott Askham at UFC Fight Night “Arlovski vs. Barnett” on Sept. 3. “The Joker” is 14-2 as a professional, with eight wins by KO/TKO and four by submission.

Cezar “Mutante” enters the matchup on a two-fight winning streak. He kicked off his 2016 campaign with a decision triumph over Oluwale Bamgbose at UFC on Fox 19 before outpointing Anthony Smith at “The Ultimate Fighter 23” finale on July 8. The Brazilian is 6-3 during his promotional tenure.
