James Gallagher to Face Kirill Medvedovsky at Bellator 163 in Israel on Nov. 10

SBG Ireland prospect James Gallagher will make his sophomore Bellator appearance against Kirill Medvedovsky at Bellator 163 on Nov. 10.

Promotion officials announced the featherweight pairing on Monday. Bellator 163 takes place at Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv, Israel, and is headlined by a welterweight championship rematch between Andrey Koreshkov and Douglas Lima. The card will air via tape delay in the United States on Nov. 11 on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

The 19-year-old Gallagher made his promotional debut at Bellator 158 on July 16, when he took a unanimous verdict against Mike Cutting. “The Strabanimal” is 4-0 as a professional, with three of his triumphs coming by way of submission.

A 23-year-old native of Hamerkaz, Israel, Medvedovsky enters his Bellator debut with a 7-2 career mark. He last competed on March 9, losing a unanimous decision to Magomed Ginazov at an event in Russia. He has finished two of his wins by KO/TKO and three by submission.
