Japan-Based Promotion Pancrase to Offer May 19 Event Via Pay-Per-View

Pancrase’s next event will be available via pay-per-view for the first time, the Japanese organization recently announced.

The promotion’s May 19 card, which takes place in Tokyo, will be available via ustream.tv beginning at 4 a.m. ET. Pancrase 247 “Champion vs. Champion/Queen vs. Queen” features a welterweight title tilt between Takenori Sato and Shingo Suzuki as well as a women’s bantamweight contest pitting reigning 135-pound Pancrase champion Rin Nakai against King of the Cage title holder Brenda Gonzales.

The card also includes a 135-pound clash between one-time UFC competitor Motonobu Tezuka and the unbeaten Taichi Nakajima, while Emi Fujino and Amber Brown will lock horns in a featured women’s flyweight tussle.
