Jessamyn Duke and Leslie Smith are set to add some women’s bantamweight flair to UFC Fight Night “Cerrone vs. Miller” on July 16.
Ultimate Fighting Championship officials Tuesday announced the bout, which will take place at Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J., on a card headlined by lightweights Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller.
For Duke, the tilt will serve as a chance to push her record to 2-1 since competing on “The Ultimate Fighter 18.” The Glendale Fighting Club team member last saw action at UFC 172, where she was outpointed by Bethe Correia.
Smith will enter the Octagon for the first time since debuting on short notice against Sarah Kaufman at “The Ultimate Fighter: Nations” finale in April. The Northern California native challenged for Invicta Fighting Championship’s flyweight title previously, losing to Barb Honchak via decision.
