Four new contests have been added to the UFC Fight Night 126 lineup, including a strawweight clash pitting Jessica Aguilar against Livia Renata Souza.
The UFC on Wednesday announced that bout and three additional pairings: Geoff Neal vs. Brian Camozzi at welterweight; Sarah Moras vs. Lucie Pudilova at bantamweight and Joby Sanchez vs. Roberto Sanchez at flyweight. UFC Fight Night 126 takes place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin Texas on Feb. 18 and is headlined by a welterweight showdown between Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros.
A former World Series of Fighting titlist, Aguilar has dropped back-to-back decisions against Claudia Gadelha and Cortney Casey-Sanchez in her first two Octagon appearances. Souza, who previously held Invicta FC 115-pound gold, is 11-1 as a professional, with her only defeat coming at the hands of Angela Hill in May 2016.
Neal punched his ticket to the Octagon with a first-round technical knockout of Chase Waldon at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 3 on July 25. Camozzi, meanwhile, is 0-2 in the promotion after suffering TKO defeats to Chad Laprise and Randy Brown.
Moras returned to the Octagon after a two-year hiatus at UFC 215, where she submitted Ashlee Evans-Smith in the opening round of their Sept. 9 clash. Pudilova improved to 1-1 in her promotional tenure thanks to a three-round verdict over Ji Yeon Kim in her most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 111.
Joby Sanchez went 1-2 during his initial UFC stint, but has since picked up four consecutive triumphs, including two under the Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series banner. Roberto Sanchez made his debut with the Las Vegas-based organization at UFC Fight Night 114, losing to Joseph Morales via rear-naked choke in the opening stanza.
