Jim Miller will square off against Dan Hooker in a lightweight clash at UFC Fight Night 128 in Atlantic City, N.J., the promotion announced Wednesday.
Also confirmed was a previously reported headliner between Kevin Lee and Edson Barboza. UFC Fight Night 128 takes place at Boardwalk Hall and will be televised on Fox Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
Miller was part of the Las Vegas-based organization’s last trip to Atlantic City, when he suffered a second-round knockout loss to Donald Cerrone in the UFC Fight Night 45 headliner. The 34-year-old Sparta, N.J., native enters the bout with Hooker on a three-fight losing streak, having dropped successive decisions against Francisco Trinaldo, Anthony Pettis and Dustin Poirier.
Hooker went 2-0 during his 2017 campaign, defeating Ross Pearson via second-round knockout at UFC Fight Night 110 before submitting Marc Diakese in the third stanza at UFC 219. The 28-year-old Auckland, New Zealand, native is 5-3 during his promotional tenure overall.
