Smith announced via Twitter that he will be on the UFC 221 broadcast on Feb. 10. UFC 221 takes place at Perth Arena in Perth, Australia, and is headlined by an interim middleweight championship bout between Luke Rockhold and Yoel Romero. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

After approximately nine years with the Bellator MMA broadcast team, Smith signed with the UFC in December after being unable to reach a new contract agreement with his previous employer. The 40-year-old former fighter made his first appearance for the Las Vegas-based promotion in the Fox Sports 1 studio this past weekend for UFC 220.

Smith will likely be paired with veteran play-by-play man Jon Anik for UFC 221, though nothing has been officially announced.
