Joanna Jedrzejczyk will defend her strawweight title against Jessica Andrade in the UFC 211 co-headliner.
The promotion announced the bout on Thursday. UFC 211 takes place at American Airlines Arena in Dallas on May 13 and features a heavyweight championship clash between Stipe Miocic and Junior dos Santos.
Jedrzejczyk has defended the 115-pound strap four times since claiming the title with a second-round knockout of Carla Esparza at UFC 185. Most recently, the American Top Team representative outpointed Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 205 in a battle of Polish strikers. She has also bested Claudia Gadelha, Valerie Letourneau and Jessica Penne during her reign.
Andrade has won three straight fights since moving from bantamweight to 115 pounds. The Brazilian known as “Bate Estaca” began her strawweight tenure with finishes of Penne and Joanne Calderwood before taking a unanimous decision over Angela Hill in her most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 104.
