Joe Ellenberger will make his UFC debut on the same card as his twin brother.

The promotion announced on Monday that Joe Ellenberger will face Yancy Medeiros in a lightweight bout at UFC 172 on April 26. That same night, Jake Ellenberger will square off with Tarec Saffiedine in a featured welterweight clash. UFC 172 takes place at the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Md., and is headlined by a light heavyweight title showdown between Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira.

A 15-fight pro, Joe Ellenberger recently signed a four-fight deal with the Las Vegas-based promotion. The former Division II All-American wrestler has won four of five fights since a nearly two-year layoff that came as a result of him being diagnosed with a rare blood disease. He last competed in December 2012, scoring a first-round knockout over Joe Wilk at Victory Fighting Championship 38.

Medeiros, meanwhile, earned his first UFC triumph in November with a first-round knockout of Yves Edwards at Fight for the Troops 3. The Hawaiian endured the first loss of his pro career in his Octagon debut, falling via TKO to Rustam Khabilov at UFC 159 after suffering a thumb injury in the opening round.
