Joe Soto will meet Iuri Alcantara in a bantamweight tilt at UFC Fight Night 125.

Promotion officials recently announced the pairing. UFC Fight Night 125 takes place on Feb. 3 in Belem, Brazil, and is headlined by a middleweight scrap pitting Lyoto Machida against Eryk Anders. The card will air on Fox Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

Soto, 30, had a three-fight winning streak snapped when he succumbed to the rarely-seen calf slicer submission against Brett Johns at “The Ultimate Fighter 26” finale. The Bellator and Tachi Palace Fights veteran owns an 18-6 career mark, with 15 wins coming inside the distance.

Alcantara began his 2017 campaign with a submission of Luke Sanders but has since dropped consecutive fights to Brian Kelleher and Alejandro Perez. The 37-year-old Brazilian owns notable wins over the likes of Ricardo Lamas, Brad Pickett and Wilson Reis over the course of his 44-bout career.
