A flyweight clash between John Lineker and Ian McCall has been rescheduled for UFC 183.
The promotion announced the rebooked bout on Tuesday. Lineker and McCall were originally scheduled to square off at UFC Fight Night in Uberlandia, Brazil, on Nov. 8, but “Uncle Creepy” became ill ill after weigh-ins and was forced to withdraw. The former Tachi Palace Fights competitor was taken to a hospital and diagnosed with a viral infection.

McCall enters the matchup on a two-fight winning streak, having bested Iliarde Santos and Brad Pickett in his last two outings. The Californian also owns notable wins over the likes of Darrell Montague, Dustin Ortiz, and Jussier da Silva during his professional tenure.
Lineker, meanwhile, has won five of six since falling to Louis Gaudinot in his Octagon debut. The heavy-handed Brazilian, who has struggled to make weight in the UFC, last appeared at UFC Fight Night “Cerrone vs. Miller,” where he scored a third-round technical knockout against Alptekin Ozkilic.
