A flyweight clash pitting John Moraga against Matheus Nicolau Pereira has been added to "The Ultimate Fighter 23" finale finale lineup.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal first reported the matchup. The “TUF 23” finale takes place on July 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and is headlined by a strawweight title bout between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Claudia Gadelha.

A former 125-pound title challenger, Moraga fought just once in 2015, dropping a unanimous decision against Joseph Benavidez at UFC 187. The 31-year-old Arizonan is 5-3 during his promotional tenure, with wins over the likes of Justin Scoggins, Dustin Ortiz and Chris Cariaso.

The 23-year-old Pereira made his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night “Belfort vs. Henderson 3,” where he submitted Bruno Rodrigues 3:27 into the third round. The Nova Uniao product owns an 11-1-1 career mark, with eight victories coming inside the distance.
