Johnson Replaces Wilks, Meets Sadollah at UFC Fight Night 24

DaMarques Johnson will square off with “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 7 winner Amir Sadollah at UFC Fight Night 24 on March 26 at the KeyArena in Seattle. Johnson, who relayed the news on his personal Website, replaces the injured James Wilks (Pictured).

A Jeremy Horn protégé, Johnson has posted three wins in his last four outings. The 29-year-old West Jordan, Utah, native last fought at UFC “Fight for the Troops 2” in January, when he submitted Michael Guymon with a first-round body triangle at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. Only two of Johnson’s 20 bouts have reached the judges. He was a finalist on Season 9 of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

Sadollah has not competed since UFC 122 in November, when he notched a unanimous decision over Peter Sobotta at the Koenig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. The 30-year-old Brooklyn, N.Y., native has been finished only once in six professional MMA appearances. Victories over Pride Fighting Championships alum Phil Baroni, International Fight League veteran Brad Blackburn and “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 7 finalist C.B. Dollaway anchor Sadolllah’s limited resume.

A light heavyweight showdown pairing Antonio Rogerio Nogueira with fast-rising prospect Phil Davis will headline UFC Fight Night 24, which will air live on Spike TV. In addition, the event will feature a welterweight duel pairing former title contender Dan Hardy with Anthony Johnson.
