Joshua Silveira made short work of Rafael Viana atop the latest Legacy Fighting Alliance event.
The co-main event saw Luiz Antonio Lobo Gavinho and Terrance McKinney battle at lightweight. McKinney (9-3) made short work of his 37-year-old opponent after landing a beautiful head kick. A few punches later on the ground and the fight was waved off after just 17 seconds as Gavinho (10-5) was unable to continue.
Kyle Estrada picked up a unanimous decision win over Tyler Wilson. Estrada (11-6) was able to land damaging leg kicks in the first two rounds. Wilson (6-4) handily won the third round but it was too little, too late as Estrada took a trio of 29-28 scorecards.
The grappling of Cheyden Leialoha proved to be the difference in his 148-pound catchweight bout against Edwin Chavez. Leialoha (8-2) dominated the fight on the ground and Chavez (4-1) had little to offer. After three rounds of action, Leialoha took a unanimous decision with scorecards of 30-26, 30-27 and 30-27.
In heavyweight action, Trevor Wallace suffered the first loss of his career against Shane Grant. "Bubba" was stunned early, but Wallace (4-1) wasn't able to put him away. Grant (8-6) battled back into the bout and managed to damage Wallace with punches after stuffing a takedown attempt. The fight was waved off just 1:36 into Round 1.
In the opening bout, bantamweight prospect William Elliott looked like he was on his way to a dominating performance over Mando Gutierrez. However, Gutierrez (5-1) persevered after being rocked early and sunk in a rear-naked choke with just seconds left in the round. Elliott (3-2) tapped out at the 4:55 mark of Round 1.
In preliminary action, Ryan Charlebois (3-0) won a clear unanimous decision over Joseph Galaviz (2-3, 1 NC) at welterweight.
