Justin Lawrence will meet Andrew Natividad in a preliminary featherweight contest at Bellator 193.
A promotion official confirmed the pairing to Sherdog.com on Friday. Bellator 193 takes place at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif., on Jan. 26 and is headlined by a showdown between Lorenz Larkin and Fernando Gonzalez. The main card will be televised on the Paramount Network at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT, with prelims streaming immediately prior on Bellator.com and the Bellator Mobile App.
A cast member on Season 15 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Lawrence has gone 3-2 during his Bellator MMA tenure thus far. “The American Kid” last appeared at Bellator 181, where he earned a first-round stoppage of Treston Thomison on July 14. The 27-year-old Missouri native owns a 10-4 career mark.
Natividad, meanwhile, has compiled an 8-10 record while competing primarily on the regional circuit in California. The Escondido Fight Club representative has lost his last two bouts, including a decision defeat to Steve Swanson at California Fight League 12 on Sept. 30.
