KSW 35 Weigh-in Results: Khalidov, Karaoglu Cleared for Title Tilt

By Mike Sloan May 26, 2016

KSW, Poland’s most prestigious promotion, is set to unleash another event full of mayhem on Friday. KSW 35 will be held inside the Ergo Arena in Gdansk/Sopot, Poland, and the marquee is stacked with two championship bouts.

The main event will feature middleweight champion Mamed Khalidov defending his title against Aziz Karaoglu. At Thursday’s weigh-ins both combatants came in under the 185-pound limit, clearing the last hurdle for them to go toe-to-toe. Challenger Karaoglu stepped to the scale first and weighed in at 185.6 pounds. Khalidov had to remove all of his clothing to weigh in but once he did, he came in right on the money at 185 pounds.

In the co-featured bout, the vacant KSW lightweight title is up for grabs and it’s up to Mateusz Gamrot and Mansour Barnaoui to see who walks away with it. Barnaoui tipped the scale at 153 pounds while Gamrot came in a little heavier at 154.1.

The KSW 35 main card will be streamed live on internet pay-per-view at KSWTV.com beginning at 1 p.m. ET/10 am. PT.
