The championship bout will serve as the headliner for LFA 18, which takes place at FireLake Arena in Shawnee, Okla. The evening’s main card will be televised on AXS TV at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Five other bouts were announced for the event: Brendan Allen vs. Chris Harris at middleweight; Braden Smith vs. Chancey Foxworth at welterweight; Rafael Venancio Justino vs. Mike Jackson at welterweight; Tyler Shinn vs. Chris Kelades at bantamweight and Daryl Wilson vs. Jarrod Card at lightweight.

Aguilar captured the inaugural LFA 125-pound belt with a third-round knockout of Damon Jackson on Feb. 17. “The Angel of Death” has lost just once in 13 professional appearances and has finished all but two of his victories inside the distance.

Rader, a 2013 Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championships bronze medalist, outpointed Emmanuel Rivera in his promotional debut at LFA 15 on June 30. The Rafael Lovato protege owns a 6-2 career mark, with two wins via KO/TKO and two by way of submission.
