Glory World Series will return to the kickboxing circuit with Glory 18 “Return to Glory” on Nov. 7 at Grand Casino Hotel and Resort in Shawnee, Okla.
The promotion announced the card on Tuesday via press release. The event will be broadcast live on Spike TV.
Headlining Glory 18 will be a lightweight world title bout between champion Davit Kiria (22-9-0, 7 KO) and challenger Robin van Roosmalen (32-6-0, 19 KO). The fight will serve as the third part of a trilogy that began in 2011, with Van Roosmalen winning the previous two meetings.
The co-headliner features Wayne Barrett (5-1-0, 4 KO) against Jason Wilnis (21-4-1, 6 KO). The rest of the main card will revolve around a four-man light heavyweight grand prix tournament featuring Brian Collette (21-2-0, 18 KOs) versus Zack Mwekassa (11-1-0, 10 KOs), as well as Saulo Cavalari (28-2-0, 18 KOs) versus Artem Vakhitov (11-4-0, 3 KOs). The winner will receive a title shot at a later date.
