Koreshkov vs. Gonzalez, Honeycutt vs. Grove Added to Bellator 174 Main Card

Bellator MMA announced on Friday that a pair of bouts have been added to next month’s Bellator 174 card.

Former Bellator welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov will look to rebound after losing his title to Douglas Lima at Bellator 164 last November. The Russian knockout artist will lock horns with Fernando Gonzalez, who is also coming off a loss. Gonzalez dropped a split decision to Michael Page at Bellator 165 in November.

Meanwhile, rising contender Chris Honeycutt will look to build upon his three-fight winning streak when he takes on Hawaiian Kendall Grove at 185 pounds. “Da Spyder” has gone 2-2 in his last four, with both losses coming via TKO. The longtime UFC veteran was stopped by former three-time Bellator chap Alexander Shlemenko at Bellator 162.

Bellator 174 takes place at Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Okla., March 3 and will be anchored by the inaugural women’s featherweight championship between Marloes Coenen and Julia Budd. At least one additional bout will be revealed soon for the main card, which will be televised live on Spike beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
