Koscheck-Thiago Rematch Slated for UFC 109

Josh Koscheck has verbally agreed to face Paulo Thiago in a welterweight rematch at UFC 109 on Feb. 6 in Las Vegas, Sherdog.com has confirmed through sources close to the bout.

MMAFanhouse.com first reported of the potential bout on Monday.

If signed, Koscheck will get the opportunity to avenge his first-round technical knockout loss to Thiago at UFC 95 last February in London.

Both welterweights took home victory at UFC 106 on Nov. 21 in Las Vegas. American Kickboxing Academy standout Koscheck submitted Anthony Johnson in the second round, while Thiago pounded out a unanimous decision over newcomer Jacob Volkmann.

Also on the card, heavyweight headliners Randy Couture and Mark Coleman will face off in the first-ever bout between UFC hall of famers.
