The fighter confirmed the deal following an initial report from ESPN.com. A debut date for Mazo has not been confirmed, but she is targeting March or April, according to the report.
The 21-year-old Mazo is the first female Colombian fighter to sign with the Las Vegas-based promotion. The Kings MMA representative is 6-0 in her career thus far and is coming off a five-round title defense over Caroline Yariwake da Cruz on Nov. 16.
“The Colombian Queen” owns a pair of head-kick KO victories under the LFA banner and also scored a notable triumph over former Bellator title challenger Alejandra Lara to kick off her pro career.
