Kerry Vera and Kim Couture have a lot in common these days. Both will have less than three pro fights each when they meet in a 135-pound women's bout at Strikeforce Challengers 5 this Friday at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan.

However, the similarities don't stop there. Both have begun their careers in the shadows of famous fighting husbands, which has propelled their young careers onto a larger stage at an accelerated rate.
