A fresh bantamweight affair has been added to UFC Fight Night “Machida vs. Dolloway,” as Leandro Issa will take on Yuta Sasaki.
Ultimate Fighting Championship officials recently announced the bout. The event takes place Dec. 20 from the Jose Correa Arena in Barueri, Sao Paulo, and features a Lyoto Machida-C.B. Dolloway light heavyweight pairing.
Issa bounced back nicely from his loss against Russell Doane at UFC Fight Night “Saffiedine vs. Lim” by finishing Jumabieke Tuerxun at “The Ultimate Fighter 19” finale in July. “Brodinho” will have the home field advantage, as he presently resides in Sao Paulo.
Sasaki has not lost since 2011, rattling off 12 wins -- along with one draw -- since the defeat. “Ulka” made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night “Bisping vs. Le,” finishing Roland Delorme via rear-naked choke in a little more than a minute.
