Legacy FC 49 Weigh-in Results: Scales Clear Participants in Two Championship Fights

Krantz tipped the scales at 169.3 pounds, as he prepares to defend the Legacy Fighting Championship welterweight crown for the first time against Alex Morono (169.1) in the Legacy 49 main event on Friday at the DiamondJacks Casino in Bossier City, La. Andrea Lee (124.9) and Ariel Beck (124.9), the two fighters who will meet for the vacant women’s flyweight title in the co-headliner, also hit their intended marks at Thursday’s official weigh-in.
A two-time Bellator MMA veteran, Krantz has secured all 17 of his victories by knockout, technical knockout or submission. The 27-year-old captured Legacy gold in July, when he put away Brock Larson with third-round punches and extended his winning streak to three fights. Morono, meanwhile, has rattled off four straight wins, all of them finishes. He last competed at Legacy 44 on Aug. 28, when he knocked out Valdir Araujo in the third round of their encounter.
Legacy 49 will air live on AXS-TV at 10 p.m. ET.
