Legacy Fighting Championship on Tuesday announced that reigning bantamweight champion Manny Vazquez will defend his title against Steven Peterson. The battle will go down on June 24 from The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas.
Legacy FC 56 will also feature Jason Sampson taking on Ryan Hollis in a bantamweight skirmish, while UFC veteran Edwin Figueroa will square off against Levi Mowles, also at 135 pounds.
The rest of the main card will see Geoff Neal opposing Andrew Parker in a middleweight encounter; Cody Walker locking horns with J.C. Cottrell at featherweight; and Eliazar Rodriguez fighting Miles Johns, also at 145 pounds.
The Legacy FC 56 preliminary card will be composed of a welterweight scrum between Sean Holden and Bilal Williams; Jessie Vazquez against Joshua Mosquea; and a middleweight tussle between Matt Alonzo and Jason Perrotta. Middleweight prospect Chad Box is slated for the undercard as well, though an opponent has yet to be determined.
Legacy FC 56 will be televised live on AXS TV starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
