Texas-based promotion Legacy Fighting Championship has inked three-time Octagon veteran Sean Soriano to a multi-bout contract.
Legacy FC promoter Mick Maynard announced the signing on Wednesday. Soriano’s Legacy debut will come in the kickboxing arena against Josh Glover on July 24 in Houston. It will be the organization’s third third kickboxing event of 2015. Soriano is also expected to compete on future Legacy MMA cards.
Anchored at the Blackzilians camp, Soriano began his professional tenure with eight consecutive victories, capturing the Championship Fighting Alliance featherweight belt along the way.
The 25-year-old made his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night in January 2014, losing to Tatsuya Kawajiri via second-round rear-naked choke. Soriano would fall to Chas Skelly and Charles Rosa in his next two appearances with the Las Vegas-based promotion before being released.
