Finally, after all the bluster, all the commotion and all the hype, both Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor are 24 hours away from letting their hands do the talking. The two combat sports colossi stepped to the scale to clear the final hurdle to what will be the biggest night in prize fighting history and, thankfully, both men were on point.

McGregor, the biggest star in mixed martial arts and the reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight champion, was the first of the two to stroll confidently to the scale. A product of Dublin and a master of the art of trash-talking, McGregor promised all week that he’s on weight and he proved it. “Notorious” came in at 153 pounds for his junior middleweight bout.

Mayweather, a five-division world champion and arguably the greatest defensive fighter to ever lace up boxing gloves, chided his foe about possibly struggling to make weight. Mayweather took to social media to devour Burger King to make a point of how great a shape he is at 40 and did exactly what he said he would. “Money” weighed in at 149.5, officially giving the monumental battle the green light.

The action all goes down inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with the Sherdog.com play-by-play and round-by-round scoring item going live at 7 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will be broadcast live on FS1 beginning at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the main card on pay-per-view starting at 9 p.m. ET.
