Saad Awad will square off against Derek Anderson at Bellator 160 on Aug. 26.

Promotion officials announced the lightweight pairing on Tuesday. Bellator 160 takes place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., and is headlined by a 155-pound duel pitting Benson Henderson against Patricio Freire. Awaad-Anderson will be part of the evening’s main card, which airs on Spike TV at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT.

Awad, 33, has won four of his last five bouts with the California-based promotion. Most recently, the Millenia MMA representative garnered a first-round technical knockout triumph against Evangelista Santos at Bellator 154 on May 14.

Anderson, meanwhile, is coming off his second promotional triumph over Patricky Freire, a split verdict at Bellator 147 this past December. The 26-year-old is 4-2 in Bellator and 13-2 as a professional overall.
