Yves Edwards will enter the Octagon against Akbarh Arreola in a lightweight bout when the UFC heads to Austin, Texas, on Nov. 22.
Edwards, 37, enters the bout with a professional record of 42-21-1 with one no contest. The “Thugjitsu Master” is winless in his last four outings and owns a 10-9 overall record under the UFC banner.
Arreola is coming off a loss in his Zuffa debut at UFC on Fox 12 against Tiago dos Santos e Silva. The Entram Gym product spent most of his career fighting for Mexican promotion MMA Xtreme before ultimately surfacing in the UFC. Prior to his defeat in July, “El Caballero” had won three consecutive fights via submission.
