Lina Lansberg Injured; Leslie Smith Now Faces Amanda Lemos at UFC Fight Night 113

Leslie Smith has a new opponent at UFC Fight Night 113 in Glasgow.

Promotion officials announced Thursday that Octagon newcomer Amanda Oliveira de Lemos will replace the injured Lina Lansberg and face Smith at the July 16 event. UFC Fight Night 113 takes place at the SSE Hydro Arena and is headlined by a welterweight duel between Gunnar Nelson and Santiago Ponzinibbio.

Lemos enters her promotional debut with a 6-0-1 record. She last appeared at Jungle Fight 88 in June 2016, when she knocked out Mayra Cantuaria Rodrigues with a knee 28 seconds into the third round. The Marajo Brothers Team representative has finished five of her triumphs by KO/TKO and one via submission.

Smith has won two of her last three UFC bouts. “The Peacemaker” last appeared at UFC on Fox 22, where she garnered a unanimous decision triumph over Irene Aldana on Dec. 17. Smith is 3-3 during her promotional tenure and 9-7-1 as a professional overall.
