Matt Lindland and
Kevin Casey are weighed in and cleared for their headlining middleweight bout at Strikeforce Challengers 8 this Friday at the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore.
The event, which focuses on the promotion’s up-and-coming talent, will air live on Showtime beginning at 11:00 p.m. EST/PST.
Lindland, a 12-time UFC veteran and Olympic silver medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling at the 2000 games, weighed in at 186 pounds. Opponent Casey came in at 184.5 pounds for his fifth professional bout.
Also on the card, undefeated two-time All-American wrestler
Tyron Woodley (170) meets Team Quest’s Nate Coy (171) in a featured welterweight bout.
