Lion Fight 21 Weigh-in Results: Kevin Ross, Tetsuya Yamato Official for Main Event

The largest muay Thai promotion in America, Lion Fight Promotions, returns on Friday with Lion Fight 21.

In the card’s main event, Kevin Ross will meet Tetsuya Yamato in a super lightweight title tilt and after both fighters successfully made weight on Thursday, that bout will go on as planned. Ross weighed 139.4 pounds, while Yamato checked in a 139.2.

Lion Fight 21 emanates from the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif., and airs live on AXS TV.

Ross will look for redemption when he meets Yamato for a second time. The pair met first at Lion Fight 11, a fight that the Japanese kickboxer won via split decision.

In the co-main event, former Lion Fight featherweight champion Tiffany Van Soest (124) meets Chajmaa Bellekhal (122.5), who is coming off a victory at Lion Fight 19 over Jeri Sitzes.
