M-1 Challenge 71 Weigh-in Results: Viktor Nemkov, Attila Vegh Cleared to Scrap
M-1 Challenge 71 is set to take place Friday night in
Ingushetia, Russia, and the event will be headlined by a light
heavyweight encounter between Viktor
Nemkov and Attila Vegh.
Pavel
Vitruk will take on Vitali
Branchuk for the promotion’s inaugural bantamweight title in
the co-feature and everything will go on as planned thanks to all
the main card fighters coming in on point at Thursday’s
weigh-ins.
Vegh was the first of the main event combatants to step to the scale and he came in at 204 pounds. Nemkov was slightly heavier, though he was still on target; he clocked in officially at 205 pounds.
Both men competing for the promotion’s 135-pound title were equally on point as the light heavyweight featured fighters. Branchuk tipped the scale exactly at 135 pounds while Vitruk was half a pound lighter at 134.5.
