SuckerPunch Entertainment, who represents "The Train," announced his signing on Friday. Landwehr (13-2) is riding a seven-fight winning streak including back-to-back title defenses. Eight of his 13 wins have come by knockout, and he has beaten the likes of Mikhail Korobkov, Viktor Kolesnik and Diego Saraiva among others. His only two defeats have come at the hands of D'Juan Owens and Dana White's Contender Series alum Mark Cherico.
Last year, the UFC and M-1 Global entered into a partnership allowing for any M-1 Global champion to leave the promotion and sign with the UFC. It appears Landwehr has done just that. When "The Train" makes his Octagon debut is yet to be seen, but the fans should be in for a treat as he always aims for a finish.
