Neil Magny will look to carry his five-fight winning streak in 2014 over to 2015, when he meets Kiichi Kunimoto at UFC Fight Night “Brown vs. Saffiedine” on Feb. 14.
A lightweight pairing featuring Efrain Escudero against Rodrigo Goiana de Lima was also added to the card.

After losing to Sergio Moraes and Seth Baczynski in 2013, Magny has been on a tear in 2014, defeating Gasan Umalatov, Tim Means, de Lima, Alex Garcia, and William Maca in succession. The 27-year-old has quickly climbed the welterweight ranks with the streak, tying the UFC record of Roger Huerta for most wins in year a calendar year in the process.
Kunimoto is on a streak of his own, winning seven straight, three under the UFC banner. “Strasser” was most recently in action at UFC Fight Night “Hunt vs. Nelson,” defeating Richard Walsh via split decision. The Japanese fighter hasn’t suffered a loss since 2012, dropping a unanimous decision to Takenori Sato at Pancrase “Progress Tour 3.”
