Former KSW middleweight champion Mamed Khalidov (34-5-2) and KSW light heavyweight champ Tomasz Narkun (15-2) are going to run it back one more time. This time, they will lock horns at Arena Gliwice of Gliwice, Poland on Dec. 1.
Khalidov went on a eight-year winning streak between 2010 and 2017. His streak was snapped by Narkun in a champion vs champion bout at KSW 42 on March 3. The KSW light heavyweight champion locked in a triangle, forcing Khalidov to tap at the beginning of the third round.
Khalidov then vacated the middleweight title in order to pursue a rematch with the only man to defeat him in KSW. The pair came face to face in the cage during KSW 45 and the rematch was officially announced.
The co-main event of the evening will feature a superfight between KSW lightweight champ Mateusz Gamrot and former featherweight champion Kleber Koike Erbst for the vacated 145-pound strap.
Gamrot owns a 14-0 career mark. The 28-year-old Erbst lost his belt after missing weight at KSW 41, even tohugh he finished opponent Artur Sowinksi with a rear-naked choke in round three to keep the belt vacant.
