Round 1

Tony Weeks is our referee tonight, his trademark 1992 haircut keeping things orderly. They circle to start the fracas with Manny tossing a few jabs to the body. Bradley is backing off, circling to his left while flicking out a few jabs of his own. Pacquiao lands a glancing left uppercut but he’s countered by a slight jab to the head. Bradley fires a mostly-blocked right to the mouth behind a triple jab at the midway point. “Desert Storm” rips his foe with a right to the ribs under a missed left. Little action late as they continue to feel each other out.

Round 2

Bradley starts the frame by circling to his right now, tossing out a few jabs upstairs. Pacquiao unleashes a straight left but it’s blocked. They clash heads on the way in but luckily neither man is hurt or cut. Manny is starting to let his hands go a little bit more now, but Bradley is able to fend off the shots. Bradley tags his counterpart with a pair of right uppercuts while in the clinch, but there’s nothing on them. Manny tags him with a lead left very late, likely stealing the round.

Round 3

Bradley paws with several jabs to the head and body early but he’s too far for them to land. Timothy misses with a massive sweeping left hook and then a right uppercut; Pacquiao tags him with a left in return. The action is sparse at best as the two welters continue to feint their shots and paw with jabs. Bradley lands a few rights to the gut late, but the round is as close as ever.

Round 4

Bradley lands a decent right to the head behind a series of jabs, but it has no effect on the Filipino. Finally a smattering of action, but neither man is able to land anything clean at the midway point. Bradley nails him with a right to the head just as Manny lands a left upstairs. Bradley ducks under a left and plants a right on Manny’s chin just at the bell. Another extremely close round that go either way.

Round 5

Bradley lands a nice right to the mug behind a jab as soon as the round begins. A brief, wild exchange leads to a loopy left landing on top of Manny’s head. Pacquiao returns the fire but he’s eventually backed into the ropes thanks to a left hook by the American. A terse exchange breaks out but Bradley lands a sneaky right through the defense. A hard overhand right-left uppercut to the melon backs Pacquiao up with a minute left. The Filipino comes back with a series of rights and lefts and Bradley is rocked. A huge straight left buckles Bradley’s knees with about 20 seconds left but “Desert Storm” keeps coming. Great action late and it’s all Pacquiao at the bell.

Round 6

A double left hook by Bradley starts the stanza but Manny blocks it. Bradley is active early on, keeping Pacquiao away with his wild shots to the head. Manny misses with a few rights upstairs and it appears as though Tim’s head is totally clear. A left up top by Pacquiao puts the crowd into a frenzy but it’s not clean. “Desert Storm” rips a few hooks to the guts of his adversary before tying him up. The action slows late and Bradley wins the round based almost solely on activity.

Round 7

Pacquiao walks into an errant right but he’s unfazed by it. Bradley is back on his bike, pawing with his jab. Pacquiao parries a series of one-twos but does nothing in return a minute in. A pair of jabs by Bradley before he tags his rival with a right upstairs. Manny continues to throw one punch at a time as he follows his foe around. With 20 seconds left, Bradley is dropped by a right to the ear, eliminating everything he’s done in the round.

Round 8

Replays showed that Bradley’s feet were tied up and he was more off-balance than anything. However, the call is accurate because he went down from a punch. They trade jabs early but none of the punches have anything on them. Bradley is boxing well behind his jab, putting Manny back into the routine of throwing one shot at a time. A hard left hook to the head rocks Manny. Bradley jumps on him and explodes with a flurry. Manny backs up into the ropes to cover up. Bradley is all over him but Manny eventually escapes to regroup. Pacquiao lets his hands go in a whirlwind at the bell but it’s too late.

Round 9

A pair of rights cut through Pacquiao’s guard early, forcing him to retreat. Bradley gives up the chase and resets. They exchange some serious leather in the center of the ring but it’s Bradley who lands the cleaner shots. “Desert Storm” goes back to the jab and is keeping Manny away. With a minute left, Bradley is floored by short left hook to the chin. He is hurt and struggles back up to his feet. Pacquiao can’t put him away and Bradley storms right back, forcing an exchange at the bell.

Round 10

Bradley is sluggish to start the frame, pawing with several jabs while he appears to still be clearing his head. Pacquiao is patient, not throwing any punches of note for the first minute. Timothy tags him with a sweeping left hook, but the Filipino brushes it aside. Very little action as the round closes, save for the two exchanging rights to the head. Close round but the American gets it.

Round 11

Bradley flicks out several jabs and errant rights, but nothing lands. Again, Pacquiao is not letting his hands go at all, opting to following his rival around. Bradley lands a few jabs here and there but seems a little tentative to put anything on his punches. Very little action late as Bradley steals another one to close the gap.

Round 12

Bradley likely needs a knockout or a knockdown to win this one. He’s a little desperate to start the round and hits the Filipino low on accident. Pacquiao tags him with a loopy left but Bradley shakes it off. Bradley is going for broke at the midway point, landing hard shots to the body. Pacquiao backs away as the American paws with several jabs. A left upstairs by Manny but he’s countered by a right to the head. Bradley slugs away at Manny in a clinch. It’s toe-to-toe late and they are trading hard shots. A left at the bell seems to have hurt Bradley, but overall “Desert Storm” wins the round.
