Marlon Moraes Makes Quick Turnaround, Faces Rob Font at Dec. 19 UFC Fight Night
Marlon Moraes won’t have to wait long to rebound from his loss to Cory Sandhagen, as he has been scheduled to square off against Rob Font at a UFC Fight Night card on Dec. 19.

Moraes fell victim to a spinning wheel kick and follow-up punches from Sandhagen in the UFC Fight Night 179 main event. Prior to that, the former WSOF champion took a controversial split verdict against Jose Aldo at UFC 245. “Magic” is 23-7-1 as a professional, with notable wins against the likes of Aldo, Aljamain Sterling, Raphael Assuncao, Jimmie Rivera, John Dodson and Miguel Torres.
Font, meanwhile, enters the bout on a two-fight winning streak after scoring back-to-back unanimous decision triumphs over Sergio Pettis and Ricky Simon. The Team Sityodtong representative is 7-3 during his UFC tenure and 17-4 as a professional overall.
