Brad Pickett has a new opponent for his retirement bout at UFC Fight Night 107.
The Las Vegas-based promotion announced on Saturday that Marlon Vera will step in for Enrique Briones and face “One Punch” at next week’s event, which takes place at the O2 Arena in London.
Vera has split four bouts in the Octagon and is coming off a unanimous decision victory against Guangyou Ning at UFC Fight Night 101 on Nov. 19. The 23-year-old Ecuador native is 8-3-1 as a professional overall, with six victories inside the distance.
Pickett last appeared at UFC on Fox 22, where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Urijah Faber in “The California Kid’s” swan song. The 38-year-old London native is 5-8 during his promotional tenure.
UFC Fight Night 107 is headlined by a light heavyweight showdown between Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson. The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.
