Martin Nguyen-Christian Lee Featherweight Title Bout Set for One ‘Unstoppable Dreams’

Two-division champion Martin Nguyen will put his featherweight title on the line against Christian Lee in the co-main event at One Championship “Unstoppable Dreams” on May 18.

The promotion announced the pairing on Wednesday. One “Unstoppable Dreams” takes place at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore and is headlined by a women’s atomweight title bout between Angela Lee and Mei Yamaguchi.

Nguyen, who holds titles at both 155 and 145 pounds in One Championship, came up short in his bid for a third belt, as he dropped a split decision to Bibiano Fernandes in a bantamweight title clash on March 12. That ended a six-fight winning streak for Nguyen, who had finished all of those victories within two rounds.

Lee is the brother of Angela Lee and has one his last four fights, all under the One Championship banner. Most recently, he submitted Kazunori Yokota in the second round at One “Visions of Victory” on March 9.
