A welterweight scrap between Matthew Frincu and Curtis Millender will headline Legacy Fighting Alliance 24.
The promotion announced the matchup on Wednesday. LFA 24 takes place at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix on Oct. 13 and will also see Joey Miolla lock horns with Vinicius Zani in a bantamweight co-main event. The evening’s main card will be televised on AXS-TV at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
The 24-year-old Frincu enters the bout on a four-fight winning streak, including back-to-back triumphs under the LFA banner. In his last outing, the Australian scored a first-round technical knockout of Maicon Mendonca at LFA 11. Frincu owns an 11-2 career mark, with nine triumphs coming inside the distance.
Millender has also won four straight fights. The four-time Bellator MMA competitor last appeared at LFA 13, where he outpoined Kevin Holland. Millender is 12-3 as a pro, with three wins via KO/TKO and nine by decision.
