Both Mayweather and McGregor stand to earn for more than what was revealed by the NAC, however, because those figures do not include pay-per-view shares or gate revenue. McGregor has said that he expects to exceed $100 million in earnings, while Mayweather has hinted that he could reach $300 million.
Mayweather made $220 million for his blockbuster matchup with Manny Pacquiao in May 2015 for a fight that drew 4.6 million pay-per-view buys. Mayweather vs. McGregor takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is available via pay-per-view via Showtime for $99.95 in high definition or $89.95 in standard definition. UFC President Dana White has said that the event is tracking to surpass 4.9 million pay-per-view buys.
