Flamboyant striking specialist Michael Page will lock horns with Jeremie Holloway at Bellator 153, promotion officials announced on Thursday.
Bellator 153 takes place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., on April 22 and features a welterweight title clash between Andrey Koreshkov and Benson Henderson. The evening’s main card airs on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
Page is 9-0 as a professional and 4-0 under the Bellator MMA banner, with all but one of his career triumphs coming inside of a round. “Venom” was supposed to face Fernando Gonzalez at Bellator 151 but withdrew from the contest for undisclosed reasons. The 28-year-old Englishman last competed at Bellator 144 in October, when he stopped Charlie Ontiveros with elbows 3:20 into the opening round.
Holloway, 31, was unbeaten in his first seven pro outings before losing to Matt Secor via second-round submission in his promotional debut at Bellator 144. The North Carolina native has finished three of his opponents by KO/TKO and two by submission.
